SHSS Business Students Headed to Junior Dragon’s Den Competition
Four SHSS Business Education and Marketing teams have been selected to compete in this year’s Community Futures Junior Dragon’s Den competition at Charles Bailey Theatre on May 1.
Hannah Bauman and Rebecca Liszt were chosen in the senior division for their company, Use It or Lose It. In the junior division, three of the five teams shortlisted for the competition are from SHSS. Ainsley Morgan, Andrea Smithies and Janneh Verigin-Lee’s business, Helping Paws for a Cause, Darrin McBee and Keegan Christianson’s business, Power Studs, as well as Josh Fogal and Kyle Hadakin’s company, Track It will be competing on May 1.
At Charles Bailey, the teams will present their business ideas to a panel of Dragons. Of the five teams competing in each division, first place will receive $2500, second receives $1500 and third receives $1000.
