Congratulations to SHSS Business students for advancing to Regionals for the Junior Dragon’s Den competition. Two SHSS senior teams and two junior teams will compete at Charles Bailey Theatre on April 21 for a chance to present their business idea at the Kootenay event in May and earn cash prizes.
In the senior division Maddy Morehouse will present her company, Drive Alive, a device that will alert drivers when they are falling asleep or having a medical episode and Vanessa Ford will present her company, Simply Fresh, an organic bath and body product company.
In the junior category, William Watt and Dakota Pan earned the highest points out of the 23 teams that entered the contest. They will present their innovative product idea, the Fire Stove, which will revolutionize the camp cooking experience. Gabriel Seaborn and Andrew Voykin round out our list of SHSS competitors with their company, Buoy Boys, a hydro power product that can be installed in any home and will drastically cut the homeowner’s cost of the electricity.
Please join us at Charles Bailey Theater at 7pm on April 21 and vote for your favorite!
