Welcome to SHSS!
SHSS is a grade 8 - 12 public high school in Castlegar, BC. Founded in 1951 Stanley Humphries continues to serve families in the community and is a part of the Kootenay-Columbia School District 20.
At SHSS we believe in offering students voice and choice in all aspects of learning, SHSS provides everything from a full complement of academic classes to a vibrant Applied Skills and Design program. Student leadership, open communication, and a culture of kindness, striving, and acceptance make up the richness of our learning community.
